I’ve spent nearly two decades building software, leading teams, and architecting systems across fintech, blockchain, and enterprise platforms. My work sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and strategic leadership helping companies transform ideas into scalable, production-ready products.
What I Bring to the Table
Technical Leadership at Scale As CTO and Chief Architect across multiple ventures in San Francisco, London, and beyond, I’ve led teams through the full product lifecycle from pre-MVP chaos to production systems serving thousands of users. I know how to build teams, establish engineering culture, and ship products that work.
Blockchain & DeFi Architecture I’ve been building on blockchain since before it was fashionable. From creating one of the first cryptocurrency implementations integrated with social platforms to architecting multi-chain wallets across Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and Sui, I understand both the promise and the pitfalls of decentralized technology. Smart contracts, AMMs, NFT platforms, tokenization, compliance-first design (ERC-3643, ERC-4626). I’ve built it all.
Full-Stack Development Ruby on Rails. Node.js. React. TypeScript. Go. Python. I write code that ships. More importantly, I write code that lasts the kind that doesn’t require deletion six months later because nobody understands it.
Cloud & DevOps AWS, GCP, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines; I’ve migrated monoliths to microservices, scaled platforms to handle millions of transactions, and built infrastructure that teams can actually maintain.
Selected Experience
CTO; Snowball Money (2021–2024)
Led development of a multi-chain crypto wallet supporting swaps, staking, and DeFi bundles across five major blockchains. Built and scaled the engineering team while overseeing DevOps infrastructure on AWS with Terraform. Designed and implemented smart contract-based AMM systems for iOS and Android.
CTO; Q.ai (2020–2021)
Inherited a stalled pre-MVP project and delivered a public beta in four months. Integrated AI-powered investment recommendations with Apex Clearing, built microservices for trade processing, and established the complete DevOps pipeline from scratch.
Technical Consultant; Mobilize (2019–2020)
Took ownership of a codebase plagued by performance issues and data inconsistencies. Led migration from Heroku to AWS (25+ services), optimized PostgreSQL queries, and built custom performance testing infrastructure.
Interim CTO; Vellaris (2018–2019)
Architected a blockchain payment platform with US Patent Pending technology. Designed microservices architecture for high availability using TypeScript, Node.js, Ruby, Python, and Go.
Chief Architect; Engineer.ai (2017–2018)
Led technological advancement for a platform using AI to accelerate software development. Worked across global offices architecting solutions involving machine learning and AI integration.
Earlier Work
Before 2017, I founded and built multiple startups, consulted for the United Nations (IFAD), and worked on projects spanning fintech trading systems, cloud infrastructure, mobile applications, and enterprise platforms across three continents.
How I Can Help You
For Startups: You have an idea and limited runway. I can help you move from concept to MVP fast without accumulating the technical debt that kills companies later.
For Scale-ups: Your product works but your architecture doesn’t scale. I can audit your systems, identify bottlenecks, and lead the engineering effort to get you to the next level.
For Enterprises: You need blockchain integration, AI implementation, or a technical strategy that actually makes sense. I bring both the hands-on skills and the strategic vision to make it happen.
For Teams: Your engineering culture needs work. I can help establish processes, mentor developers, and build the foundation for sustainable growth.
My Philosophy
I believe in artesanal coding, building software with intention, understanding, and care. In an era where AI can generate thousands of lines of code in minutes, the real value lies in knowing what to build, why to build it, and how to build it so it lasts.
I’ve seen teams drown in AI-generated code they don’t understand. I’ve cleaned up architectures where “move fast and break things” left behind nothing but broken things. I’ve learned that the best engineers are ruthless editors, writing less code that does more work.
That’s what I bring to every engagement: the discipline to build things right, the experience to know what right looks like, and the hands-on capability to make it happen.
Let’s Talk
Whether you’re an early-stage founder, a company struggling with technical debt, or a team looking to level up your AI integration strategy. I can help.
